Carer Support Workshops

Caring with Confidence is a series of FREE informal workshops which help carers build on their own skills and knowledge and become confident in their role. The workshops are free to any unpaid carer over 18. So if you are looking after somebody or supporting them, these workshops are open to you. You don't have to be caring full time and you don't have to be living with the person you are caring for. You can even have a separate full time job, but if you are caring for somebody, you have access to this useful programme.

Comments from Carers

"All the information is relevant. The more you know, the better your caring role will be".

"I would recommend the sessions to other carers because of all the good information, discussion, support, togetherness & friendship"

"Very thought-provoking reflecting on my own situation & ways to cope. I learnt a lot about myself".
